According to my information, a mine exploded during demining in Tavush, and a serviceman was injured as a result. Garnik Danielyan, MP from Armenia bloc in Kirants village, stated. 

In connection with this statement, Armenian News-NEWS.am asked the Armenian Ministry of Defence for clarifications. 

"As a result of the mine explosion, there is a wounded serviceman whose life is not threatened. His condition is assessed as satisfactory," the Ministry of Defence replied to our inquiry.
