Toyota Motor has held the world premiere of its new compact crossover, the Urban Cruiser Taisor, in India. This model is a modification of the Suzuki Fronx, which is manufactured since 2023, reports Drom.ru.

In terms of power stations, it is completely unified with the original Suzuki. Consumers will be offered a 1.2-liter engine with 90 hp and 113 Nm of torque or a 1.0-liter turbo engine with 100 hp and 147 Nm. The first is combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox or "robot," the second—with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine is front-wheel drive only.

The Urban Cruiser Taisor will be manufactured in India—at Suzuki Motor's local subsidiary plant.

Prices will start at 774,000 rupees (approx. US$9,300).
