We highly value the ongoing peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this in a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Friday, APA reports.

“Recalling that the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia recently met in Germany at the invitation of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the head of state said: ‘The next meeting will be planned in Kazakhstan, and thus we are taking additional steps towards signing a peace agreement,’” APA added.

Aliyev reflected also on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation process, announcing "the return of four Azerbaijani villages occupied in 1990 and 1992."

Noting that this morning the Russian-Turkish joint monitoring center located in Nagorno-Karabakh concluded its activities, the Azerbaijani head of state emphasized: "That is, there are very good opportunities to achieve peace. We [i.e. Azerbaijan] stand ready to collaborate with those countries that want to help us in this matter."
