A mass roundup has begun throughout the Moscow region on migrants in search of fictitious registrations. Telegram channel Mash reports.

In addition to illegal immigrants, police officers find and prosecute flat owners who register foreign specialists in their living space. However, the latter live in hostels or hostels, but certainly not in one-shkas where they were registered. For such machinations, the owners of housing may face a fine of 100 thousand rubles to three years of imprisonment. Also management companies of Moscow and the region ask neighbors of rented flats to anonymously report about citizens who may have been illegally registered.

Fake certificates of knowledge of the Russian language have also come under scrutiny. The paper must be presented when applying for a labor patent. Several attempts to obtain a work permit with the help of fake certificates have already been detected in migration centers.
