Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, on Monday met with the deputy speaker of the NA of Hungary, Istvan Jakab, informs the Armenian parliament.

Expressing gratitude to Jakab for his visit to Armenia, Simonyan lauded the importance of such visits in terms of the development of the Armenia-Hungary relations.

Istvan Jakab, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Armenian NA speaker for the warm reception, and noted that there is great potential for developing the bilateral relations between Armenia and Hungary.

Subsequently, the interlocutors exchanged viewpoints on Armenia-EU relations, the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the intensification of interparliamentary ties.
