Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the Chief of the Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia.

The ambassador of India to Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha, also attended the meeting, informs the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

Minister Papikyan lauded the current level of Armenia-India cooperation in defense, and stressed the importance of regular implementation of cooperation programs.

General Chauhan, for his part, expressed the readiness of the Indian Armed Forces to continue developing cooperation with Armenia in existing domains and launch new domains of mutual interest.

Regional and international security was also discussed during the talk.
