A criminal case has been initiated in connection with an attempt to illegally cross the state border of Armenia, and seven people have been detained, the Investigative Committee of Armenia told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Earlier, Azatutyun, the RFE/RL’s Armenian service, citing its sources, had reported that a few days ago, a group of Bangladeshi citizens had attempted to illegally cross the state border with Iran from Armenia, but Armenian National Security Service officers had arrested them.
