By order of the Armenian Minister of Defense, the Spiritual Guidance unit, which has brought its spiritual service for 20 and more years in the Armenian Armed Forces, has been dissolved, Father Psak Mkrtchyan wrote on social media.
“We are now relieved of our duties as clergy [in the Armenian Armed Forces],” Mkrtchyan added.
And according to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s information, the Ministry of Defense has sent a respective memo to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
