An Armenian was among the casualties of the tragic Malaga-Madrid train crash in Spain. Armenian News- NEWS.am, has learned that Armenian woman Elen Baghdasaryan also had died in the accident.

The Armenian community of Malaga has extended its condolences to Baghdasaryan’s family and relatives for this heavy loss. The accident, which claimed the lives of more than 40 people, occurred on the evening of January 18 near the town of Adamas.

The train, which was heading to Madrid, derailed and ended up on adjacent tracks, where it collided with an oncoming train, which also derailed.
