An agreement has been reached to hold an exhibition of exhibits from the History Museum of Armenia at the Acropolis. Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, announced this during a press Tuesday.

According to Andreasyan, this exhibition is planned to be held in cooperation with the Berlin Museum.

Noting the huge success of Jennifer Lopez's concert in Yerevan, which was attended by more than 15 thousand foreigners, the minister announced their plan to repeat that success with the participation of another star—but who that star will be is not yet known. Also, answering the question of how much money was returned to the state budget of Armenia in exchange for the huge amount spent on Lopez’s concert, the minister did not give a specific figure, but noted that the results were still being analyzed.

The minister spoke positively also about the working experience of Armenia’s museums during the New Year holidays. According to her, there were more than 700 visitors to the four museums that operated on January 1 and 2.

In addition, Andreasyan reported on the ongoing restoration of Armenia’s historical and architectural monuments, as well as churches.
