The statements of the Azerbaijani side about declaring search for Armenian officials are checked, but the fact is not confirmed, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan stated at Friday’s session of the National Assembly of Armenia.

"The prosecutor's office [of Armenia] regularly monitors and checks the allegations regarding the constantly announced searches. All the international resources we have to know whether there is a search or not, the fact is not confirmed by all our channels," Vardapetyan said.

According to her, these statements by Azerbaijan could be manipulative to provoke similar statements from the Armenian side.
