This follows a statement released by the UK Foreign Office. Canada and the United States took similar measures.

Seyed Mohsen Vahabzadeh Moghadam and Abbas Abdi Asjerd, who, according to the Foreign Office, "lead a network of Iranian companies involved in the production of drones," were placed under sanctions.

Restrictions have been imposed on Alvand Motorbuilding, Bonyan Danesh Shargh, Industries Company, Moj Gostar Aseman Parvaz Company, and Pishro Sanat Aseman Sharif Company.
