Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday received Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.

Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the EU to Armenia, also participated in this meeting, the PM's office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors conferred about the regional situation, the peace treaty talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the process of their border delimitation.

Armenia-EU cooperation and its further development were discussed, too.

Klaar once again noted that the EU fully supports the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiation process with the aim of a comprehensive and lasting settlement, as well as the agreement to start their border delimitation process based on the Alma Ata declaration of 1991.
